As part of Awakening we had a 40 hour adoration in Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh on Wednesday and Thursday (16th and 1th of March).We started off on Wednesday with the Holy Mass at 9.15 in the morning and ended on Thursday evening at 8pm with the solemn benediction. The Holy mass, benediction as well as the adoration was very well supported by the parish community and we are hugely indebted to Fr Michael Dennehy for that, as Father organized wonderfully, the adoration as a parish event, incorporating the various groups in the Parish. We had around 60 members for the starting mass, and about 75 for the benediction and we think that at least, more than 150 parishioners would have come for the adoration during the two days.On Thursday, Fr Michael along with the Head Teacher Ms Clark, accompanied and led in prayer, some students of St. Swithun Wells Catholic Primary School, who joined in the adoration for some time.
