Awakening 2011 London day 32

The 3rd day in London marked the completion of One month of Awakening 2011 in UK.

Personally the last 24 hours have been a time of great joy,blessing and celebration of how wonderfully the Lord works.

It being a Saturday as expected drew in quiet a good number of worshippers all through out the day. It was a pleasure to see a few familiar faces, and one particular parishioner James joined us for 3 consecutive nights!

All throughout the day there many small yet beautiful encounters happening in this little house of God. The malayalam Prayer group (which is a literally the backbone of the JY here in Walthamstow) had a hour long slot where all prayered together for various prayer intentions as one big family.

It is touching and inspiring to see how time and again we the Jesus Youth are you welcomed in this family of the Bethel prayer group. Every day one family or the other literally booking turns to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for those of the likes of me and most of others who are travelling from far to come to the adoration. So beautiful to see how the Lord takes care of all our needs.

The night was yet another wonder. It was decided that we would gather and intercede for the SPARKS retreat happening this weekend and the ones coming up all through the night. Unexpected the assistant parish priest Fr. Mark came and joined in with us and we are grateful to him for having offered us the opportunity for confessions till about mid night. it really helped us kick start our night vigil.We had a great time of praise and worship, rosary, sung divine mercy. Adding to the fervent rhythm of our hearts and prayers one of the parishioners Leszek came in with his hand drums as we all cried out the song 'you are my hiding place ' the night seemed to have just slipped by.
