We thank the Almighty for having given us this wonderful opportunity, to experience His presence among us everyday, at a personal level, living and breathing in a piece of bread in front of our eyes. Being witness to his many miracles, seeing his love and mercy unfolded during the last 25 days has truly being an amazing journey.

I thank
Shiji Pradeep, Avarachan and other parishioner (Leicester); Jocelyn and Rani Shan (London), Binoy (Coventry); Priyan, Roy and family (Manchester); Abhy, Savio (Leicester); Manu (Liverpool) for having come here today.

Entrusting this beautiful initiative "Awakening", and our lives into the Lords hands yet again, may the words of this prayer be truly the cry of each one of our heart...

Lord we pray, that throughout our lives
All that we begin in You
may by You be happily ended,
All that we fail to do
may by You be mercifully mended,
and all that we seek through You
may by You be lovingly attended.
Amen.

Awakening - Day 24

During a conversation I had with a friend we spoke about ,What was the difference between Peter and Judas?

One surrendered his life into the hands of Jesus, one did not. The one, who believed in Jesus Christ as his master, experienced the merciful love of God and the other who became the master of his own life, paid its on consequences.

Friends, though this thought may be very simple, it made me ponder on these questions,
Which is it going to be for me? Do I believe in merciful love of God? or am I still in doubt?

Can I call myself a PETER or am I a JUDAS...?

I thank Avarachan, Bincy,Hope, Patrick, Mrudula and her Mother (Leicester), Lijo (Birmingham), Jocelyn (London), Dineesh & his mother and Manu (Liverpool); and all those who have taken the pains to come and sit in front of the Eucharistic Lord.

I would like to urge those who are yet to make a visit here...COME BE A PART OF THIS GREAT AWAKENING THE LORD PATIENTLY AWAITS YOU....

Acts 4:31 the last verse from today's first reading
was a true for each one of us present here as we were blessed with the opportunity of having the same spirit filled experience during the Eucharistic celebration lead by Fr. Sebastian Arikat not just once but twice. In his homely Father stressed on the importance of the Alter which symbolizes the tomb of Jesus, as a reminder not only of His death but also as a sign giving hope of resurrection for each one of us.We had a beautiful time of praise and worship during the Mass at 10 p.m, and also had messages confirming that the Lord has great plans through this adoration, that people who seek Him and prayer for others shall not go empty handed themselves.

Today we saw a lot of familiar faces , some people had such blessed experiences that they didn't want to spend even a day without being in the presence of the Lord. It is inspiring to see the commitment of families with little children who keep on coming day by day. One elderly
parishioner who attended the morning mass even said how wonderful it was to see parents teaching little children to pray at such a young age. By evening the little chapel was full of young JY's from Leicester itself.

Awakening inaugural service

"Awakening” was kicked off in style on the evening of the 5th of April at the Mother of God Parish Church,  Leicester.

Bro. Thomas Paul shared his miraculous experiences for about an hour. He explained the need to pray day and night to break the bondages and defeat evil.

The efforts and enthusiasm of Fr. Paul Nellikkulam in organising the 49 day perpetual adoration was conspicuous.

The presence of Fr. Arikat was an additional blessing , who in spite of being unwell concelebrated the Holy Mass.

The Holy Mass was followed by a beautiful adoration for an hour at the church.

It was wonderful to see the church full of people eager to be with the Eucharistic Lord. The day's events were absolutely grace-filled and joyful.

The Eucharistic Lord was then taken to the private chapel at the presbytery.

We eagerly await to see graces flowing to the Church of UK and Europe through the prayers of committed Catholics who have taken a resolve to pray day and night!!
